One of my most inspiring paddles (kayak) of summer 2020 I finally found the Egret in an agreeable mood. I was able to sit and observe her fishing for quite awhile and chose to paint this moment, when the wind kicked up a bit, ruffled feathers … late afternoon sun all made for a most successful trip on the lake. Title compliments of my “punny” friend … (no regrets)…
