I’ve been inspired to revisit a previous painting of these three trees heavy laden with snow after a storm. The first time I only had a few hours to complete this scene but this time I had several days to “play” adding purples to the snow shadows. Before I started painting full time I thought creating this type of image would be tedious however, it’s become more like therapy and a happy discovery using unique colors I’d not previously thought to use.
